Everyone has to start somewhere, whether you are an olympian or an average joe. There are many of us that spend weeks, months, and even years to prepare for a run. There is also an abundance of hard work, dedication, and of course, blood, sweat, and tears that go into the preparation process. Instead of reading the success stories of olympians, professional athletes, or celebrities, we want to hear your story! We want to know where you began, how you trained, what was your motivation, and how you finished. Even if this is your first 5k, 10k, or half-marathon, we want to know why you decided to take part in one. Every couple weeks, we will pick a person to “spotlight” and have them share their success story, to help inspire others. You can also nominate yourself (or someone else) through our Facebook page or Twitter Page (@MissionInnRun), and don’t forget to register for our upcoming Mission Inn Run on November 11.
**Here is a look at our past success story with Jaylene Welch, where she learned to break the chain of unhealthy eating habits, and get into shape.
If you have any questions, please contact us through Twitter or Facebook, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Thank you and Enjoy!
