Before you get onto the track, streets, or treadmill, the hard work first begins in the kitchen. How you fuel and recover your body before, during, and after running is very important. You don’t want to load up on fast food or other unhealthy, processed items before running. In order to help you figure out what your body needs, here is a video that tells you how to eat before, during, and after a run. It is recommended that runners should eat a mix of fats, carbohydrates and proteins, in order to prepare the body with the appropriate amount of nutrition and energy. Hope this helps! Enjoy.
